Room description

This is a small and bright double room available in a 2-bed apartment. The room has a comfy bed, a small desk/vanity table, a clothes rack, and under-bed storage. The bathroom is the main apartment bathroom with a shower, a sink, and a WC, which you will have almost exclusive use for most days. The kitchen has all modern conveniences including an oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. You will also have your own shelf in the cupboard and fridge. There is a WiFi connection.

The apartment is located in Blackrock, a seaside area in Dublin that is well connected to Dublin City centre. Blackrock has great walks, with lovely parks nearby as well as access to the coast and swimming opportunities when the tide is in, and only a short DART ride from the famous 40-foot swim spot and Seapoint. There are cafes, wine bars, takeaways, pubs, grocery stores, banks, and retail shops within a short walk, as well as the Blackrock Market, one of the oldest markets in Dublin, now known for its food. Also within walking distance to UCD Smurfit campus, easy access on public transport to UCD main campus and Trinity College Dublin, and on a bus route for TU Grangegorman campus. It is a 7-minute walk to Blackrock DART station to access the city centre (approx 20 minutes journey) and many areas of Dublin and Wicklow along the coast both north and south. The 7 and 4 buses are also less than 5 minutes and can take you to the city centre. The S6 bus from Blackrock can bring you to N11 which has numerous other bus routes or to Dundrum Luas for access to the Green Luas line. The Aircoach also stops within 5-minute walk of the apartment for easy access to the airport.

I work from home almost full-time during the week in the living room, so not suitable for someone who is at home oe intending to work from home during the day.
