Room description

Small double room available at the rear of the house from late evening December 1st.. Depending on the suitability of the tenant. We can only accept a drama free, uber organized, clean & non racist tenant. Someone independent, aware that all they are being offered is a clean, safe room in a very organized, scheduled household.

Tenants only responsible for cleaning their own room. The rest of the house is cleaned by someone else. Common sense & respect for the other tenants is a must. Students must rinse out shower after use & thoroughly clean the kitchen up after their own use.

Excellent location, minutes walk from the Dundrum Luas, 20 mins to UCD on the bicycle and less than 20+ mins to Grafton St & Trinity College via Luas. 6 minutes walk from the Dundrum Luas, from this stop it is less than a 20 minute journey to Trinity College on the Luas, 9 minutes walk from Dundrum Shopping Centre, 15 minutes into St Stephens Green. UCD is a 17 min - 20 cycle away.

Garden, garage for secure bicycle storage, washing machine, dryer. Access to the machines 2 loads weekly. 1 Pressurized shower room. 1 additional toilet & wc. Communal areas cleaned thoroughly daily Monday to Friday. Students responsible for cleaning their own rooms. We provide clean bed linen and bath towels weekly. Currently residing, two other female UCD students, one has lived with us for almost three years. A French Veterinarian Medicine student, she returns for her fourth year with us in Sep 2019.

An Irish 2nd year female Irish law student will be in our single room from late Sept on.

We are a small Irish exhausted family and only accept responsible, clean, independent students and interns. There is virtually no contact with the students, as family already in a family survival bubble! Very available for emergencies & we will worry if we haven't heard/seen students for 24 hrs.

Tea, milk, cooking oils, condiments and all bills are inclusive. We do not provide meals for students. Students have their own shared fridge/freezer and kitchen access is scheduled to suit the family & students. There is no communal living room. Our current two female student are very studious, respectful and independent. We are very happy to help new arrivals orientate themselves around the city or University campus, the day they arrive. We provide a safe, clean, warm room within a house. We are a family and have studious but sporty teens. Respectful but not monastically quiet household. Again, no communal living room. We present the students rooms, spotless and expect everyone to leave their room spotless and undamaged when they leave. In our own youth, we rented rooms with international families, studios, apartments etc in numerous cities globally with other diverse students. Consequently we are fully aware of what is required to insure everyone keeps the peace in a household with numerous people including a family

We were born and raised in Dublin and ex students ourselves. We have lived for over 20 years in London, San Francisco, NYC, Italy, Kenya etc

We have hosted a variety of students over the last five years and always delighted to help if a student needs assistance the first day they arrive & to pick them up from

Apologies for lengthy details. Easier to honestly explain how this house is, rather than students arrive & misunderstand how everything operates in this house...prefer to prevent any illusions about what we are offering & how the house is organized.

Safe, clean very organized household. Great location for UCD & the city centre. Airport coach, 6 minutes walk from our house.

If you leave your room a mess, you will be charged a €30 cleaning fee.

If students stay less than two months there is a premium of €1000 monthly
